Right from the early days I was obsessed with drawing.
Every Jaguar Apprentice completed a weekly report book, and I took every opportunity to illustrate my week's activities with drawings and illustrations.
After Apprentice School one of my first factory floor jobs was the assembly of Daimler Bus steering boxes: The worm and nut mechanism comprised an assembly of components which I sketched out ( above ) and built my report around.
My work in Body In White engineering included 2 and 3 point perspective drawing and gradually moved towards design feasibility and visualisation.
